John Pearson was confirmed as an Elected Director of the RFRU at their AGM on Sunday 27th June 2021

John will provide not just a wealth of knowledge and experience but a do it attitude as his recent work in Durham with YMO’s will prove.

One could forgive someone of John’s tender years from resting a little on his laurels but John has none of that.  At 75 years old John is still an active referee, and we believe has organised and ran the most successful YMO programme in the country.  This is on top of being an excellent Durham County Schools Secretary and a active member of the Referees’ Society.  He also has recently updated his Guide to Refereeing and has produced historical information on international referees.

We can be sure the the interests of the game and in particularly referees is in good hands with John involved.
